Overview
DropMock is a cloud-based design app that helps users with their marketing needs by providing a wide array of video mockups, image mockups, video templates, etc. It also caters to a community of entrepreneurs and provides them with online trainings on business growth, marketing and client acquisition.
Challenges
DropMock has been a well-known and trusted brand in the JVZoo market for many years. The next step for the brand is to form a cohesize and modern look as it prepares to leave the the affiliate marketing industry and finally go mainstream.
The DropMock app and logo underwent a rebrand in 2018. The rest of its public content (most especially its website) is yet to follow.
Purpose
Under DropMock, there are several people from various departments who create publicly distributed content. This would include blog posts, newsletters, mastermind courses, emails, templates, social media posts, landing pages, etc.
Since not only the design team is involved in the creation of public content, it is all the more vital to have specific guidelines that would define and unify the DropMock brand. How incredible would it be to achieve a look that at first glance would be recognizable as DropMock?
Highlights
The brand manual is a summary of the design system I used in creating the website. Here are a few highlights:
DropMockās colors were already defined by its preexisting logo. I just took it one step further and specified where you can use certain colors and which colors would go best together.
Using different images was an easy way to lose sight of the DropMock brand. Hence, I also tried to simplify how one can choose the right image or adapt a specific photo so it would fit into the brand.
